Coed Summer Camps - Registration Open

Cal Coast Volleyball Club will be offering coed summer volleyball camps for boys and girls coming into 4th - 9th grade. Summer Camps are for athletes of all skill levels who want to be challenged by our experienced and professional staff while working in a fun, positive and competitive environment. Camps will be run by Erin Alves & Cal Coast VBC staff and held at St. Patricks School in Arroyo Grande, CA.

European Invasion

Beach volleyball had some international flavor at Pismo Beach Thursday.

An informal beach volleyball tournament consisting of players from Spain, Slovenia and Italy, players from their Central Coast host families and others, took place from around 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Players had a lot of laughs, but their desire to win — from shot-making, to hustle, to facial expressions — was obvious.

A Select Trio

Arroyo Grande residents Megan McGuigan, Jade Fuller and Paige Waymire packed one more activity into their busy volleyball schedule recently.

The three took part in Los Angeles-based tryouts for various Southern California Volleyball Association High Performance teams. Spots on those teams are reserved for some of the best of the best among Southern Cal age group players.
